Recently, we had the joy of bringing together a talented team of Dayton wedding vendors to create an editorial that highlights just how magical a wedding at the Dayton Art Institute can be.

A Ceremony in the Great Hall

Our editorial began with a breathtaking ceremony set up in the Great Hall, where Tori and Xander (our model couple) stood beneath lush floral arches designed by @floralvdesigns and @lemonwoodfloral. The hall’s soaring ceilings and historic charm created a dramatic yet romantic setting — the perfect place for couples who dream of a statement-making ceremony.

A Balcony Reception with a View

For the reception, we transitioned to the balcony overlooking downtown Dayton, styled with rentals from @primetimepartyandeventrental. Long tables dressed in green linens were adorned with bold florals and candlelight, creating an inviting atmosphere that blended modern design with the Art Institute’s classic architecture. And no reception is complete without cake — @spencerssugarshop delivered two stunning designs that paired perfectly with the editorial’s timeless-meets-modern aesthetic.

Portraits Around the Museum

The editorial continued across the venue, showing just how versatile the Dayton Art Institute can be for portraits.

• In the Art Gallery, Gabby and Andrew posed among world-class works of art, adding a cultural and sophisticated touch to their wedding-inspired portraits.
• In the Hale Cloister, Chelsea and Garrett embraced in the serene courtyard surrounded by stone arches, offering couples a quiet, European-inspired escape right in the heart of Dayton.
